ChefTec MMX on Display at the IHM&R Show, November 8 - 10, 2009

 
 

BOULDER, Colo. - Tuesday, October 27, 2009 -- The powerful business building benefits in ChefTec Software will be one of the highlights at the International Hotel, Motel & Restaurant Show this November. ChefTec Version MMX has been optimized for Microsoft Windows 7, which was released last week. The new enhancements in ChefTec MMX will be featured at booth #1422 at the annual trade show held at the Javits Center in New York, November 8 through November 10.

New features and functionality in ChefTec MMX include:

  • Allergen Alerts: ChefTec MMX has preloaded data for ingredients that contain protein derived from milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, and soybeans. Allergen Alerts will automatically show this information for ingredients and for recipes using these ingredients, giving businesses an easy way to keep customers safe.

  • Easier data entry for non-standard units plus new automatic prompts for highlighting potential data inconsistencies.

  • New ways to track waste and sales on the Inventory On Hand screen and report.

ChefTec MMX was released in October after extensive testing with long-time ChefTec customers and power-users. The response to ChefTec MMX Software has been overwhelmingly positive with users finding greater ease of use, more accountability and greater control.
