ChefTec Mobile Solutions now has Receiving Module

Use a mobile device to receive inventory at the back door

BOULDER, Colo. - April 17, 2013 -- ChefTec Mobile Solutions has added a Receiving Module (RCV) to its expanding platform.

ChefTec Mobile Solutions allows CorTec and ChefTec users to save even more time and money by allowing users to utilize handheld technology such as HP ElitePad Tablets or Janam Handhelds. It also helps reduce the number of errors and labor/time spent doing data entry of inventory by at least 50%! The modules available through Mobile Solutions are physical inventory taking (PIT), ordering (ORD), Recipe (REC), and now the Receiving (RCV) Module.

The ChefTec Mobile Solutions Receiving Module allows users to view orders on their tablet and scan items as they are delivered to the operation. The desktop ChefTec software is automatically updated with received items and if there is something shorted or missing from the delivered order, the Receiving Module allows those items to be easily seen and a report can be printed showing all items shorted or missing.

"The number of people wanting and needing mobile solutions is indicative of our times," said Bev Daniels, General Manager. "The addition of the Receiving module to ChefTe's Mobile Solutions helps to increase our customers' productivity by cutting the time they spend sitting at their desks and ensuring they receive what they ordered."

The new Receiving Module and ChefTec Mobile Solutions will be on display in booths 5423 and 6572 at the National Restaurant Association Show at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL, May 18 through May 21.
